Performance & Pedagogy

I picked up a guitar at age seven in Millville, New Jersey, and never put it down. My foundation was built on seven years of formal private instruction, rigorous high school music theory, and a lifelong commitment to the craft.

In 1990, that dedication led to joining thrash metal legends Overkill. Over the next five years, I toured internationally, recorded four studio and live albums (Horrorscope, I Hear Black, W.F.O., and Wrecking Your Neck), appeared on MTV, and performed for tens of thousands worldwide. That era taught me what it truly takes to perform, record, and maintain gear under high-pressure, professional conditions.

Higher Education & Technical Expertise

After touring, my relationship with music expanded into audio engineering, production, tone shaping, and instrument tech work. For over 17 years, I’ve translated that real-world industry experience into direct, high-impact instruction.

Beyond private mentorship, I served as an Adjunct Professor at CCC & Rowan College, teaching audio engineering and music courses, and as Director of Operations for the CCC Makerspace in Bridgeton, NJ. Whether guiding university students through complex DAW setups and signal chains, or helping an absolute beginner strike their first chord, my approach bridges high-level theory with real-world execution.
